I love my awesome Mercedes-Benz SLK Welcome Lights on my door. When I open my car door, the welcome light will automatically shine onto the ground. It is only SGD$150 (without the LED Lights) to fix/install a pair of welcome lights. Most of my Mercedes-Benz SLK Club friends have all installed it at Max Factor too. 

There are those AAA Batteries operated Welcome Lights, whereby you can just stick it on the bottom of your door, but those kind of lights are not powerful enough to shine the logo clearly and sharply. Sometimes, these low quality sticker may also fall off your car door. Hence, I would recommend you to go for the best, which is to install the welcome lights, connected directly to your electricity circuit for a stronger shine and a sharper logo image on the ground. 

Any Car Models or Brand Logo can be done. Do call Benjamin at 92302338 to ask for your quotation. Installation is SGD$150 (without the LED lights) for FIXING a pair of lights, you may have a different quote for 4 door cars. 

I also installed my ANGEL EYES Headlights at Max Factor Garage!

SYDNEY - Lamborghini Club of Australia NSW Members Club Drive from Sydney to Galston - On 27 Sept 2015 Sunday, John Edwards, the NSW co-ordinator of the club organized a drive starting from Autohaus Prestige where breakfast was provided with compliments from David Butler (Autosports Lamborghini Sydney) for all members. I was waiting at Calga for the convoy to arrive from Sydney which is the next meeting point as it was nearer to my home in Newcastle, NSW. 


Together we drove down towards Rosie's Cafe at Galston for a nice lunch. The weather was pretty cooling as it rained a little but the sun was also blazing on our cars at mid afternoon. The beautiful sunlight allowed us to take magnificent photos of all the stunning Lamborghini that reminded me of Skittles the candy. The highlight of this drive was that David Butler drove a brand new Silver Lamborghini Huracan from the Lamborghini Sydney showroom. Oh, the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder has been launched recently and I can't wait to see it in person once it arrives in Sydney! My love for convertible cars :)

A police car drove passed our convoy but we were not speeding so no fines were issued out!

Overall, it was a great turnout and I managed to catch up with my girlfriend Amelia Robson who drove the McLaren 650S Spider for the first time :) She's such a lucky girl! Looking forward for the next club drive where we will be heading down South of Sydney to Coolangatta Estate Winery. Enjoy the photos taken with my iPhone 6. SG50 Celebration in Singapore - Recently, Sports Car Club Singapore (SCCS) formed a SG50 sign at The Tanjong Pagar Railway Station. Most of the SCCS members were involved. We took around 4 hours to complete shifting and moving everyone into place. It was super fun! At the start, we all gathered at a public car park near Vivocity before we convoy down by Car Type to Tanjong Pagar Railway Station where all the exciting action took place. There were different types of cars including Mercedes-Benz, Maserati, Bentley, Lamborghini, BMW, Porsche, Audi, Nissan GTR etc. It was an incredible feat to position every car in a strategic position in order to form the formation of the word "SG50" in perfection. It required full cooperation and patience from everyone who was involved but guess it was a memorable thing to do as part of Singapore's SG50 celebration!!!

SYDNEY - KENSINGTON STREET - CENTRAL PARK - SPICE ALLEY - Many Asians living in Sydney can now rejoice as a brand new hawker centre named "Spice Alley" has just recently opened right in the heart of Sydney city beside Sydney Central train station and opposite UTS University. Chippendale's major face lift to become a great entertainment and vibrant arts hub was the result of the interesting foresights of Chairman of Frasers Property Australia - Dr Stanley Quek and the Executive Director of Greencliff Realty - Marcus Chang. Tucked away in almost a very "secret location", Kensington Street was a tiny lane alley with terraced shop houses that reminded me of Haji Lane in Singapore. The once forgotten terraces of Kensington Street is now Sydney's vibrant, characterful and creative urban laneway that houses restaurants, cafes, art galleries, innovative shop retailers etc. giving the place new energy, new purpose and new allure.

SYDNEY'S First Hawker Centre - Spice Alley - open 7 days a week - is simply a heaven for foodies as the place reminded me of my favourite hawker centres in Singapore as there were so many popular hawker dishes made available for diners to order. Most importantly, the place was brand new, clean and all the dishes were reasonably priced around AUD$8-$12. Diners can order food over the counter and the food was cooked really fast without long waiting times. Delicious local delights included Roti Prata, Murtabak, Penang Fried Kway Teow, Hokkien Prawn Mee, Wan Tan Mee, Katong Laksa, Chatterbox Chicken Rice, Roast Duck Rice, Crispy Pork Belly Rice, BBQ Satay Sticks, Timsum (prawn dumplings), Fried Crispy Dough Sticks, Congee etc. 

SPICE ALLEY ambience - Tastefully decorated with hanging red and yellow chinese lanterns above our heads, the courtyard filled with wooden tables and chairs provided a relaxing dining atmosphere. Even the cutlery provided were disposable wooden forks, spoons and chopsticks. Unlike most hawker centres where you will leave feeling smelly due to the smoke from cooking, this place was airy with occasional breezes and was exceptionally clean for a hawker centre. The hawkers here were extremely polite and cheerful. One of them even said to me "Enjoy your Meal" when I collected my food. Such impressive customer service! The place was not too crowded, spacious and creatively designed. Everyone was having a good time enjoying the food in the courtyard.

TOP ASIAN CHEFS - Famous Asian chefs such as Alex Lee (ex- Temasek and Ginger and Spice), Uncle Jim (Uncle Jim in Mosman), Old Jim Kee (Hong Kong cuisine expert), Bang Luck (Mama's Buoi) etc. opened their stalls and helped create Spice Alley to become a top dining destination for all Asian food lovers. This place is a must visit if you love and appreciate Asian Hawker style food! Tantalise your taste buds with the wide variety of dishes from the Singapore-Malaysian, Thai, Vietnamese, Hong Kong stalls etc. You will be spoilt for choices! It is casual dining at its best!


FINAL VERDICT - Having tried a wide variety of food during my first visit, I was deeply impressed as all the dishes were authentic and tasted incredibly delicious! Some dishes even taste better than those served back home in Singapore. This place will definitely be my regular place to dine in Sydney! I only wished this place existed earlier so I won't miss Singapore's food so much!

INTERESTING PAYMENT MODES - Kindly note that the hawkers here do not handle cash. Customers are encouraged to purchase a card at the front reception, load it with value before proceeding to the various stalls to order your food. Otherwise, simply present your credit card when ordering for easy payment by using the pay wave function. Hi-tech, efficient and hygienic!

Lamborghini Club of Australia - The Bull's Roar Magazine - Issue No. 70 - Sept 2015 - In the midst of moving into my new home, I forgot to update my address. Luckily, Secretary/Treasurer of the club - Gary Overs was kind enough to deliver the magazine to me in person and we had a short coffee session to chat over upcoming Club events. This newly printed Lamborghini Club Australia Magazine has a different feel to it as the club has changed its editor and printing company. I love the new look, creative design and the glossy new pages. This is definitely a new improved version of the Club Magazine and I hope the team will continue their great work producing our club magazines!

THE SG SISTERS visits the official Lamborghini Factory/Museum & Ferruccio Lamborghini Family Museum in ITALY - I discovered that my name "Lora Christelle Lim" was actually printed on the cover of this magazine! WOW! In this magazine, there is a special feature about how my sister Sara Shantelle Lim and I had a truly wonderful time visiting the official Lamborghini Factory/Museum in Bologna as well as the Ferruccio Lamborghini Family Museum in Funo. Special thanks to legendary ex chief test driver for Lamborghini - Valentino Balboni and Fabio Lamborghini who provided really kind and warm hospitality for our entire family during our visit in June 2015. It was an epic birthday celebration for my sister Sara as we had a private Italian gourmet lunch with Valentino Balboni the man himself! It was a really special and memorable trip as I met the only son of Ferruccio Lamborghini - Tonino Lamborghini in person and also had a private lunch with Fabio Lamborghini after a special tour around the Ferruccio Lamborghini Family Museum :)

Lora Christelle Lim's writing - It was great to see my very own writing and photos being published in print and in the most prestigious Lamborghini Club Australia magazine. I am totally ecstatic and shared the great news with my family and friends. I must say it has been a great honour and privilege to be a member of the Lamborghini Club of Australia where everyone in the club is equally passionate about exotic cars and are genuine Lamborghini aficionados. We can seriously marvel over the beauty of cars and chat about them all day! I have made great friends with the awesome people in the club and not forgetting John Edwards as well as Gary Overs for organizing all the fantastic drives for all club members. I am looking forward to the next club event!

TOTEM - CIRQUE DU SOLEIL - Singapore - I have always been a big fan of Cirque Du Soleil performances and Totem did not disappoint. Filled with mesmerizing performances and several incredible acrobatic stunts, I was captivated and enjoyed the show tremendously. The theme was based on "a fascinating journey into the evolution of mankind" and the performance was a showcase of mankind's incredible feats that are not only thrilling but also a beautiful celebration of mankind's strength, vulnerabilities and infinite potential. Although this may not be the best Cirque Du Soleil I have ever watched, it is still worth the time and money for a wonderful night out. The venue is at Bayfront Avenue just beside Marina Bay Sands.

MY PASSION FOR CARS - I really love cars since I was a kid. The first car that I fell in love with was the Honda S2000 which I saw on a Car Magazine when I was around 12 years old. Ever since, I have always wished to have my own car and probably own a beautiful car collection one day. Today, I am very fortunate to be able to drive a Mercedes Benz SLK. It is quite expensive to own a car in Singapore as the COE (Certificate of Entitlement) for Cars in Singapore is really high.

I was really happy to meet Michelle Pan - Managing Director of Aestheticar Pte Ltd at my Mid Annual Sports Car Club event. She was young, slim, tall and really beautiful. It is really rare to meet a lady boss in the car workshop industry. She was also really friendly and nice. I was really lucky that night to won the LUCKY DRAW - a complimentary car polish from Aestheticar. Michelle was really glad to meet me as she said that I was one of the rare few girls who had a strong passion and interest in cars.

NEWCASTLE, NSW, AUSTRALIA - As most of you already know, I recently got a Dalmatian Puppy from a NSW Registered Breeder located near Central Coast, NSW. My puppy Dotti is currently 4 months old and she is extremely active, loving and simply likes to play. We bought her many toys and dote on her a lot. Dotti also gets along well with my mini-lop bunny Snowy and they chase each other around my garden everyday. Hope they stay best friends forever! About the Ferrari 488 Spider - The Ferrari 488 Spider is Ferrari's latest creation in Maranello of open top V8 sports cars. With a retractable hard top cover, the 488 Spider is a car that is fully made with the latest and most innovative technology and ensures that the driver himself is able to enjoy the inimitable Ferrari engine soundtrack. The 3902cc turbo-charged V8, smooth progressive torque delivery in the higher gears by the Variable Torque Management system and maximum output of 670cv allows the car to sprint from 0-100km/h in just 3.0 seconds and 0-200 km/h in 8.7 seconds. Ferrari Club of Australia NSW Members Annual Christmas Party - With more than 150 members showing up for this event, it was definitely one of our most successful club events. Special thanks to the Committee members for organizing this spectacular event. All of us enjoyed a wonderful night of dinner and drinks. The canapes served before our 3 course dinner were also amazingly delicious. My favourite was the peking duck pancakes! I also love the Christmas decor and Christmas crackers displayed on each table. The Ferrari Menu was also beautifully designed! Lucky me I was one out of 10 lucky members who won the Lucky Draw prizes :) What a great start to a beautiful and happy Christmas Festive Season! May your Christmas be filled with loads of love, warm and happiness too :P

I have given many beautiful and lovely Christmas gifts to my friends and brought them great happiness :) Here is my Christmas Shopping List that I wish to share with all of you!

PANDORA CHARM BRACELET - I received my first Pandora Bracelet with Snowflake Charm as a Christmas gift this year and I am very excited as I look forward to adding new charms to my bracelet in the near future. Pandora Charm Bracelets are very popular in Australia and every Pandora Boutique are flooded with huge crowds. Patience is required when shopping in Pandora stores this Christmas Festive Season. My neighbor told me she has 2 full charm bracelets and each bracelet had a special meaning to her. I guess every Pandora Charm Bracelet tells an interesting story as most people add a new charm to their bracelet during special occasion such as - the birth of a new child, buying a new house, school graduation, job promotion, special anniversaries, birthdays etc. My birthday is coming up in JAN 2016 so guess I will have one good reason to add a new charm to my Pandora Bracelet!

CHRISTMAS BAKING - My general advice is to make a list, keep it simple and Christmas baking is definitely my top choice. I have spent 8 hours last Friday baking alone at home, whipping out fresh cupcakes and star-shaped cookies fresh from the oven! I took a long time to bake as baking in large quantities took a long time - moulding the star-shaped cookies one by one, putting tray after tray into the oven, decorating each and every cupcake/cookie by hand. Despite the hard work, I was feeling extremely satisfied as all my friends and neighbors were so happy to receive them and complimented that they taste incredibly delicious! I also baked for Charity and passed some of my baked goods to the hospital :)

22 Dec 2015 Sunday - After touching down in Singapore the previous night, my sister Sara and I woke up early in the morning to prepare for a very exciting photo-shoot. This pre-wedding photo-shoot will feature myself as the bride and 6 bridesmaids together with Sara's newly wrapped hot pink Mercedes-Benz SLK Convertible car. We decided on a special location that features Singapore's iconic Marina Bay Sands hotel and Art Science Museum in the backdrop. During the photo-shoot, we attracted a huge crowd and many people approached us to take photos with us as though we were celebrities. Despite the hot weather in the late evening, I want to thank all my girlfriends for the patience and their beautiful smiles. Thank you for everyone who made this possible! *grateful* It was overall a very fun photoshoot! The photos say it all!

SYDNEY - Oliveto Ristorante & Bar - All dressed up in Christmas colors in red and green, I was feeling really excited to attend the annual Lamborghini Club Australia Inc. - NSW Members Annual Christmas Party 2015 dinner. It was my first time having dinner at Oliveto Ristorante & Bar located at 443 Concord Road, Rhodes in Sydney and the view was spectacular! I loved the water views, the ample parking, the delicious Italian pasta I had and the wonderful customer service I received! I will definitely come back to dine at this Italian Restaurant in Sydney again! Lovely food and ambience!
